The Woolly Mammoth Microfiber Drying Towel is the softest, shaggiest, and most-absorbent microfiber drying towel ever made. It’s the fastest and safest way to dry any vehicle!
Read a lot of reviews claiming it left a ton of lint behind and was not good at all. Decided to give it a go anyways. These people must have tried using right out of the bag because after throwing it in the washer without softener and drying it on ultra low, this towel is hands down the best towel I've ever used for drying a vehicle. NO LINT whatsoever, extremely soft and plush and it is very absorbent. Trust me. Buy it. Wash it before you use it (WITHOUT SOFTENER!!) and throw it in the dryer on the lowest setting with a clean lint trap. Start at the top of your vehicle, lay it down flat and just drag it. The size of the towel and the absorbency cut drying time in half from what I was using before. Now I can't speak to durability as I've only used it once but I'm very happy after my first use.

I just purchased a new 2021 Chevy Colorado, so of course it's my shiny new toy. I purchased a decent shammy from Autozone and it performed as any other shammy would. It did the job, but this Wooly Mammoth is soooooo much better! I'm going to get a second one just to make the drying time a little faster. Some tips for those of you thinking of getting one:
1. Wash it before using it! If you don't wash and dry it out first, it's going to leave massive lint trail!
2. Do not use it like a shammy! Lay it over the wet areas and pat it down! Do not drag it across the car surface! Watch the instructional videos!
3. Have another microfiber towel handy to buff out the area you just dried out. Something like the Happy Ending towels offered by Chemical Guys.
I can't say enough good things about this product, it works really well, so buy with confidence IMHO. Also, just having one works well with my Colorado and I'm considering having two of them. So, do your own math based on the size of your vehicle.
